Update — What’s the Deal with Shape-Up Shoes?

Last week, Siouxsie blogged about Shape-Up shoes.

And then Siouxsie wrote to Corporette and suggested they run a poll to see what their readers thought about these shoes.

Corporette followed  up on the suggestion and ran a poll.  After more than 1000 votes, the results are as follows:

Roughly two-thirds of the people responding felt that Shape-Up shoes were okay for your commute.  The remainder of people felt that the shoes are ugly and gauche. These folks urged professionals to never, ever wear these shoes in any form.

So the consensus is that Shape-Up shoes are not going to be readily accepted as office appropriate any time soon.
