Hurricane Irene Survival Kit
I’ve been without electricity since Irene arrived. We expect to be without power for the next two or three days. Luckily, I was prepared.
Hurricane Irene Survival Kit: Hario cold water drip coffee maker, Portland Black Lipstick Company lipstick (Cyanosis), lantern (with batteries), and Illamasqua nail polish (Snap)
Regular posting to resume soon.
Oh, that sucks! I’m so happy we didn’t lose power, though I was prepared!
I’m so jealous, and I have no doubt that you were prepared. Though probably with a different shade of lipstick.
Sorry about your electricity. Glad you were ready.
Thanks.
Oh honey! Us too! I actually learned how to make coffee by filling a filter with coffee, tying the top with cooking twine (like a sachet), and then boiling it until nice and strong in a small pot. I *DO* like that coffee maker!
Hope everything comes back soon! Hugs from NYC!!!
If there is one thing I’ve learned from all this: we are all horribly addicted to coffee.
Ouch, I feel your pain! I also lost power during the storm and haven’t gotten it back yet–but you were WAY more prepared! Intensely jealous of your coffee contraption. We made a pot Saturday afternoon that we’ve been reheating on our propane grill every day since. SO GROSS.
Hope everything comes back soon!
Ugh. Your coffee sound awful. Still no power here. I’m sitting in a parking lot to reply. 😦
