Siouxsie Law
Once upon a time, there was an eager summer associate trying to meet her billable hours. She was working very late and listening to Bauhaus on the radio when Black’s Law Dictionary suddenly fell and struck her on the head. She awoke with a finer appreciation for all things dark. And a new name — Siouxsie Law. Siouxsie managed to graduate from a top-tier law school, get published in a law journal, and obtain a prestigious federal clerkship.

Amazing site. Resemblances between Elmer Fudd and Mr. Comins is hysterical but perhaps unfair (to Mr. Fudd of course). Love K Lagerfeld especially the documentary run recently on IFC (? maybe Sundance?) although hoping Mr. L’s brass knuckles don’t make a comeback. And hooray for Maryland (through the AG) for realizing two hundred and thirty four years later that everyone indeed is not only created equal, but should be treated so (and that perhaps the pursuit of happiness might really run in tandem with that truth!).
One half of our duo is also an attorney (Emily, who has a fondness for stripy socks). I am jealous of your blue half-moon manicure – it’s lovely. I never seem to get around to reading corprette, but I’m glad my coworker does and that she recognized that I would thoroughly enjoy your blog.
Thanks so much for your kind comments. Stripy socks are the best. And thanks for reading.
Your myspace page is great, by the way.
Once upon a time, there was a lawyer who went by the appellation, Der Schatten. He stumbled across your website and vowed that, when he picks up the stylus again, he shall add you to the Blogroll.
Good to see I am not the only one 🙂

It’s nice to have company. I’m enjoying your blog. Thanks for commenting.
One of my people! I was an Industrial DJ for years before I went into law. I’m still trying to learn how to dress in ways that don’t involve combat boots and concert tees. It’s challenging, to say the least.
I saw Siouxie and the Banshees at the Kalamazoo State Theater in the early-mid nineties… amazing!
I can’t wait to dig into your blog in between court appearances and discovery review….
Yay! Glad to have found each other. I look forward to reading your blog.
Read your entry about cloves and all the crap going on with this wonderful US government. Thought you might find my most recent blog post interesting. It’s on a booklet by Ronin Lawbringer; it begins with that very topic and spirals into others, all of which are pretty interesting.
Link is in the website. Hope you enjoy it, and know that I’m subscribing!

Thanks for reading and for the link.
I don’t know how I found your blog, but I am glad I did. I’m now scouring the internet for shades of black nail polish…
Always nice to meet a fellow traveler.
